These
commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.
Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit
at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down
and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and
bind them on your foreheads
Deuteronomy 6:6-8 NIV
“It takes a village to raise a child,” tells us the old
saying, but at times it seems as if more than a village
is required. A whole army is needed. But the truth is that
if we don’t take an active role in making sure our children
get the right influences and formation, someone else will.
Unfortunately that someone else may be one who does not
have the children’s best interests in mind.
Certainly God never intended parenting to be as complicated
and overwhelming as it seems today. As a father God deals
with us with much love, patience and much perseverance,
clearly laying down the pattern for us to follow as we deal
with our own children. We should not, nor want, to do it
any other way.
We invite you to bring your children to participate in our
Kids Kingdom ministry.
Classes are every Sunday morning and Wednesday night during
our normal worship service schedule. Please contact:
