Ministries:

Marrieds

Today we live in a day and age where marriages have ceased to be sacred. Sadly, more and more, the vows made during wedding ceremonies have gone from expressions of undying commitment down to wishful agreements at best and empty protocols at worst. Divorce rates continue to be high, but that is not the most alarming. What is of most concern is that in its deceitfulness, divorce has become normal, convenient and popular, leaving families disoriented, confused and broken hearted.
At the RGV Church, we understand the challenges and heavy burdens society places on our marriages. That is why we are committed to build marriages that will not only survive, but be strong enough to reach out and share with other couples the amazing and encouraging plans God has for our marriages.

Singles

Being a single man or woman can be such an exciting time in life. A time to go places and get to know different people. It can also be a time to pursue different goals and go after many dreams. Yet being a single can also be tough. At times not having a special someone to share your life with can create feelings of uncertainty and loneliness. Unfortunately these kinds of emotions can be hard to cope with, causing some people to make many wrong choices.

At the RGV Church we want our Singles Ministry to be a place that will provide a safe haven for everyone who wants to live a purposeful single life that will glorify God.

The bible says in Psalm 127:1. “Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain” this is why there is not a better time to come to know God than when you are a student.
If you are going to build it, build it right.

But the truth is that if we don’t take an active role in making sure our children get the right influences and formation, someone else will. Unfortunately that someone else may be one who does not have the children’s best interests in mind.
Certainly God never intended parenting to be as complicated and overwhelming as it seems today. As a father God deals with us with much love, patience and much perseverance, clearly laying down the pattern for us to follow as we deal with our own children......
